...the real v-day

okay, so i didnt think id have the time to post on valentines day, but here i am…

…we had a great day… our friends jenny, trianna, evie, & robie came by to visit… the kiddos played hard, ran around, played drums & the piano, and had a blast! its very nice to have some like minded adult friends that have kids our kids ages! gabe made the girls valentine’s cards - heart shaped cards with mini dinosaurs attached to cards that said “youre DINO-mite!” and then he decorated the inside with their *names*, stickers, and some markers drawings… (he also did this for all the kids in his speech class!) …then it was off to nap (gabe refused again today… ugh! and we paid for it later tonight with a difficult dinner & bedtime)

…i think gabe has finally settled on a “spider-man” theme for his birthday, or shall i say, mom has convinced him it would be REALLY cool! we picked up some invitations for his march 8th party… we think we may invite the kids from his speech class, there are some moms that id like to know more than the drop off/pick up routine… and then we might have more play dates for summer… (oh, wait - almost forgot, there will be another kiddo then… lol!)

…speaking of which, im still having crazy preggers dreams! …last night’s wasn’t good, but i do realize that all my pregnancies have had some pretty strange/bizarre dreams! im feeling good though, middle of the night leg cramps have begun…. its so funny how some of these things are so similar… im going to bed now with a banana bedside… and the waters have started already… i have to leave one outside aedhan’s room, just incase i have to go in, i’ll finish it while im there… and then i put one on the nightstand next to me, which is almost gone by morning… and occasionally, i have to do a middle of the night refill! i think sometimes that i drink more at night than during the day!

…oh, almost forgot to mention… aedhan took some really big walking strides on sunday (when nana was here)… he walked half way between the table and me sitting near the stove… probably close to 10ish steps! he continued to do that for the day, and it has dropped off since, maybe because we are asking him to do it… he does get so happy when he does it though… some day, very soon, i will be wishing for that slow moving crawl!
